Such a beautiful, poetic, nourishing share, Jamie. It speaks to one of the most special parts of sobriety, for me, and one of the most special parts about the sober community. There’s a sense that all parts of us are welcome here, and it’s never too late to begin again.

Mmm so beautiful! The courage to sit through the pain as it burns to embers is so greatly rewarded in the gifts of new growth. This essay is the perfect reminder that "from deep pain, deep compassion may grow" and really spoke to my heart. Thank you for sharing so vulnerably!
