Welcome to Sober App Substack!

We created Sober App Substack as an extension of Sober App—a free, downloadable app to help you discover freedom through sober living.

Both on the app and here on Substack, you’re invited to join a vibrant and supportive community, united by the shared goal of staying sober, one day at a time.

Who are we?

Sober App is recognized as the first addiction recovery app. It was developed by a licensed therapist with 24 years of professional experience and 36 years of sobriety.

Beyond simply tracking sober days, Sober App is a comprehensive toolkit designed to help you build new habits, stay motivated, and connect with a supportive community.

Sober App Substack provides a platform for app users and others to connect, learn, and feel seen and supported. Whether you’re on a sobriety journey or just considering starting one, this space is for you.

In today’s world, billions of dollars are poured into pulling people into addiction. We’re taking a stand for the opposite—offering resources, raising awareness, breaking stigmas, and helping people find freedom from addiction through a life of sobriety.
